Fresh SimCity BuildIt Tips, Techniques and Strategies

SimCity BuildIt provides lots of challenges for players who like city-building and resource-collecting games. These guidelines, simcity buildit cheats and even tactics can help strong metropolis-organizers away by making sure their city’s starting foundation is as solid as possible.

Plan Ahead

Every time you set a residential zone in SimCity BuildIt, remember that when the zone isn’t insured by the essential city services, then the construction will ultimately become abandoned and will not generate any tax income for you. This is awful.

You would like to get the best coverage possible, therefore putting a fire station directly from the corner of the town zone is not the smartest move, since the fire station’s area of impact will be overflowing into the deadzone, where you can not build.

Also, remember that factories and support buildings do not have to be coated by firefighter/police/etc. protection. Notice how in the picture above I’ve positioned my two fire stations to quilt the residential places, but left the industrial structures (bottom left) nicely out of this zone.

Sell Your Excess

Your factories should always be working. As you play, queue up some of the resources with the quicker turn-around, and until you leave the game to go do something else, then queue up some of the resources that require extended amounts of time to make.

Sometimes thought bubbles pop up with a gold coin in them. If they’re popped, a town informant tells you of their potential to market your funds for some coins. Unless the deal is actually weak, it is ideal to always market the lower-tier resources, since you can always get them back in a couple of minutes with the factories anyway.

No Paving or Relocation Fees

There’s absolutely no cost to up-rooting a residential area and plopping it down into another acceptable location. Same goes factories and town services like government buildings and plants. There’s also no cost for paving streets.

With this in mind, it may make getting out of a poorly-planned situation super easy: just extend the street out and fold it around, or just drag it into a dead-end. Then move the buildings you need to move out of the way to the freshly-paved street, then rotate the structures in and out as necessary.

The Path to Nowhere Success

Dead-ends are your buddies in SimCity BuildIt.

Look at my town in the picture above; note that stretching out of the side of the town is a very long street all alone? In the end of that road is the sewer plants which maintain my town smelling fresh. They smell awful, and that’s the reason why they are the way up there.

Because streets are free, there’s absolutely no reason why you shouldn’t maintain those stinky buildings (factories included) away from the own residents as possible. While their place is accompanied by an area-of-effect stink-zone, their solutions provided do not. As long as they’re attached to the street, they’ll service the town, however far out you place them. There is numerous simcity buildit cheats iphone to your requirements.

Broaden With Caution

I discovered that I was always getting access to more residential places than I could support. Sure I could plop down buildings along with new streets…but I lacked the financing to support those houses with utilities and solutions.

After a bit, I realized that’s ok, and I focused my efforts on improving what I already had.

Resist the temptation to fill your entire map with buildings and streets. Focus on some of the map to start with, or you will only be stretching your resources too thin and will have trouble making much progress. Remember, the bigger the building is, the more people can dwell inside, and all those folks are going to pay you taxes.
